Storytelling Based Advertising : Career Interview

Storytelling-Based Advertising Campaign Project
Tarot Project: La Voix Des Arcanes is a narrative choice-based game with light management elements inspired by divinatory Marseille tarot.
The player embodies a troubled character facing relatable life challenges (family issues, love, social conflicts) and turns to tarot for guidance.
Played in first person at a table, each major arcana comes to life as a hallucinated figure during card readings, symbolizing different aspects of the character’s life.
The core intent of the game is to let players “meet” the tarot: discovering the arcana, their symbols, and their distinct personalities through interactive storytelling.
But how ?
The idea is to use a relaxed, comedic interview-style video to introduce the main characters of our game in a fictional behind-the-scenes shoot context.
Our writing team (us), who shaped the arcana’s personalities and dialogues, is presented as a film crew directing these characters on set.
This concept highlights that our biggest challenge was defining each arcana: their personality, voice, and way of speaking, with many “takes”, dialogue tests, and rewrites, just like a real production.
At the same time, this format strengthens the desire to meet these colorful, whimsical characters.
A vague idea :

The dev team introduces itself comically as a film crew (writers, producers, etc.), setting a light context to draw viewers closer to the project.
Arcanas enter as quirky actors in a mock casting session: each briefly introduces themselves, performs a short scene (first 2-3 seconds shown), filmed from a cameraman’s POV to spotlight their personalities and symbolism.
The idea is to produce quick, rhythmic vignettes (5-15 seconds each) to mimic Fiasco-style (or pixar style bloopers) behind-the-scenes footage, showing arcana interactions, bloopers, and traits to build their vibrant characters.
With this concept, we lean even further into the idea of meeting the Arcanas. This campaign is designed to give the existing community something new to talk about, while sparking curiosity among those who don’t yet know the game; making them want to play or learn more about the Arcanas.
